Hi there. I’m Davis.

I am a storyteller based in San Francisco, California. Like most of my best traits, my love for stories can be traced back to my mother. Ever since I was young she encouraged me to be open to, and cognizant of, what she calls “golden moments”. By her definition, golden moments are the experiences in one’s life that shape your perspective of the world around you. It didn’t take long for me to recognize that my golden moments shared a common denominator - they were all, in one way or another, connected to stories. Armed with this insight, I have made the creation of stories my life’s work.

While living and working in Los Angeles, I had the privilege to support the development and production of FX’s Emmy Winning Fargo, Hulu’s Emmy Winning The Handmaid’s Tale, and The History Channel’s Vikings. I currently serve as Director of Content at MasterClass where we endeavor to illuminate the brilliance of industry leaders and share their genius with the world. In this capacity, I have overseen more than 20 projects including our classes with President Bill Clinton, Metallica, Amy Tan, Neil Gaiman, and Chris Voss.

When I am not working or reading, I can be found strolling around the redwoods, re-watching True Romance, or singing karaoke.
